Biographie

Michel Bachelet et Christine Juillard œuvrent ensemble depuis 2006 et ont créé un groupe d’intervention du nom de Zoné Vert. Ils ont participé à différents événements et symposiums d’Art in Situ au Québec et en France.

Michel Bachelet and Christine Juillard, have worked together since 2006 and have created a partnership called Green Zone. They have also participated in numerous events and Art conferences across Quebec as well as in France.

Démarche artistique

Les flots arrivent et passent en vagues successives au rythme du ressac des migrations quotidiennes et saisonnières. Matins, soirs; magasinages, rêves illusoires, dortoirs. Ainsi, l’homo urbanis se déplace au sein de son architecture protectrice, à l’abri des intempéries et de l’inconnu. La lumière permanente, diffuse et sécurisante l’accompagne en tous lieux. Mais sous le béton, la force de vie est encore là et un jour, se frayera un passage vers l’espace convoité, vers l’immuable jeu d’équilibre de territoires et de déplacement des espèces terrestres.

Waves come and go, they move according to the rhythm of the daily current and the seasonal migration. Mornings, evenings, shopping, illusory dreams, dormitories. Thus, the urban individual moves within his sheltered architecture, protected from the elements of the unknown. Perpetual light safely spreads onto everything, but under the concrete, the living entities which still continue to exist will one day make their way into our desirable spaces. They will play a partin the constant game of balancing land and the displacement of terrestrial species.
